Abstract
The Holy Qur'an is a divine book revealed by Allah to His Messenger Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets - peace and blessings be upon him. Without a doubt, it is a book of guidance, but it is also a miraculous book. The miracle of the Qur'an lies in the fact that it addresses all challenges, hence the various aspects of its miraculous nature, such as its rhetorical miracle, scientific miracle, legislative miracle, economic miracle, numerical miracle, and more. Despite all of this, the Holy Qur'an remains within the framework it has established, its purpose, and the objective for which Allah revealed it. The greatest and most sublime objective of the Qur'an is to provide guidance and lead mankind to the straight path. This great objective serves humanity's greatest interest, both in this world and the hereafter. It becomes clear that safeguarding the purposes and interests is one of the primary aims of the Holy Qur'an. However, human understanding of these objectives has varied. We observe three positions or schools of thought: those who do not understand the objectives of the Qur'an at all and disregard them entirely, those who understand but take an extreme approach, and those who are moderate, neither neglecting nor overemphasizing. This humble research explores the topic of "Purposive Tafsir" and examines it thoroughly without rushing to judgment, adopting a balanced and moderate approach in understanding the Qur'anic texts.
