Abstract

The issue of brief and eloquent expressions has always attracted significant attention both in the Arab world and globally. These expressions are, first and foremost, concise representations of sincere human feelings and knowledge, intertwined with wisdom and filled with imagination. They combine the humanity and naturalness of meanings with the originality and elegance of words, making them free from biases towards any nation or language.

The specific hadith of the Prophet, «I have been given concise yet comprehensive speech,» has especially piqued the interest of researchers, encouraging them to explore its nature, discover its intellectual wealth, and study its structure.

Many scholars have limited these expressions to Quranic verses, while others recognized them in the unique speech of the Prophet. Some believed that such expressions could be found in both, while distinguishing between what is miraculous and what is within human capacity.

The opinion of many scholars is that these expressions are characteristic of the Prophet's speech, which was marked by exceptional eloquence, recognized by many experts. These words were divine revelations, while the manner of their expression was unique to the Prophet.

However, this does not negate the fact that similar brief and profound expressions were also found in the works of other individuals, including poets, orators, and writers, whose words touched the hearts of listeners, transcending time and space. These expressions became widely quoted and admired for their precision and alignment with human nature.

The goal of this research was to study the unique nature of these expressions in the Prophet's speech and their importance. Researchers concluded that such expressions were always inherent to the Prophet, while for others, they occurred only occasionally. The Prophet's ability to create new meanings through unique words and constructions that had no precedent, while addressing the depths of the human soul, is remarkable.
