THEOLOGICAL VIEWS OF AKYT ULIMZHIULY ON THE CONCEPT OF «THE AFTERLIFE»

Abstract

The article examines theological views on the concept of the afterlife, reflected in the works of a prominent representative of Kazakh spirituality, Akita Ulimzhiuly. Akita Ulimzhiuly is known as a poet, thinker and public educator, whose works were distinguished by their religious and educational direction. His legacy harmoniously combines the Islamic worldview and national values. The poet’s thoughts on the afterlife are based on the key principles of Islamic theology and are aimed at a deep understanding of the life goals and spiritual quests of man. The article analyzes the ideas about the afterlife in the author’s poems, as well as his philosophical views based on religious and spiritual values. Particular attention is paid to the connection of his work with Islamic teachings and the traditional worldview of the Kazakh people. The study uses methods of textual analysis and theological comparison, which allows us to identify the relevance and significance of the poet’s legacy for modern times.
