Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the nature of language conflicts in the historical development of sacred texts and their role in the socio-cultural context. The purpose of the work is to determine the types, causes and consequences of language conflicts in sacred texts through a discursive analysis of linguistic features. The main areas of the study are developed within the framework of the following topics: the role of multilingualism and polysemy in sacred texts; linguistic manifestations of ideological conflicts in texts; comparative analysis of linguistic features in the texts of different religious denominations. The results of the study contribute to a deeper understanding of the linguacultural history of sacred texts, as well as to the solution of linguistic problems in modern interreligious relations. The study used comparative historical, discursive and linguistic methods of analysis. In the course of the study, the main causes of language conflicts in sacred texts and their changes in the course of historical development were determined. The features of the use of linguistic means in texts for ideological purposes were also determined. The study can open new perspectives in the field of sacred texts and provide a basis for future research in this direction. The results of the study will be useful to specialists in the field of religious studies, linguistics and cultural studies, as well as to a wide inquisitive readership interested in the development of interreligious dialogue.
