Abstract

The article examines the complex landscape of religious television programs in the countries of Central Asia and provides a comparative analysis of the theoretical foundations and practical manifestations of these programs. In a region characterized by religious diversity, socio-political dynamics and cultural identity, the study aims to reveal the role of television as a means of religious expression, education and influence. The main objectives of this comparative study are: to study the historical and cultural contexts of Central Asian countries that shape the development of religious television programs; study of the various religious traditions that exist in the region, including how Islam is presented and promoted through television; study the level of influence of public policies, regulations and censorship on the content of religious television programs; assess the impact of religious television programs on target audiences by comparing their role in shaping religious views and practices. This article is intended to promote a deeper understanding of the complex interactions between religion, media, and culture in Central Asian societies. Promotes a detailed discussion of the role of television programs in the religious scene in Central Asia as a whole.
