الملخص

Despite the value of the manuscript, it is of utmost importance in shaping the present and future of nations. As it represents the identity and past of every nation, and it is known that any nation that has no past, no present, and no future = the interest in legislation and laws in the Arab world was not at the level that equals the value of the manuscript book and its importance in the conscience of the nation.
This scientific paper aims to read closely the contents of Arab laws (international and institu tional) regarding the protection of manuscripts. These laws are modest in number, but extremely rich in terms of content and coverage. Benefiting from previous efforts made on this subject, and surpassing them on both levels: temporal and spatial.
